Thank you anon for the request of ‘tips to self control.’ (with food, I assume.)
Firstly, I want to say that you cannot just solely rely on these and expect to master self control - it takes time. So, here we go!
SELF CONTROL TIPS AND TRICKS
1. Buy yourself a nice dress/outfit/garment that is you goal size. When you feel tempted to eat something, go look at the garment or even try it on.
2. Use your lunch money for the week and buy yourself something nice, maybe a new sketch book or put it into college savings/other savings so you’re not able to buy food.
3. The rubber band trick. Put a rubber band around your wrist so that when you are tempted to eat/buy food, snap yourself. Your brain will start associating hunger with pain.
4. Simply think of your goals.
5. Finding a hobby to distract you. Art, writing, or like me - compulsive studying, because if I’m gonna starve myself, might as well get smarter while doing it.
6. Go hang around your friends. It helps, because 1. it distracts you and 2. because you don’t want to eat around your friends.
7. Light workout to burn calories and get your mind off things.
